The science department fosters enthusiasm and 信心 in the sciences, 为学生准备大学水平的科学课程，培养具有科学素养的女性毕业生.

课程描述
每门核心课程都以实验为主, where topics currently being covered in the class are applied in hands-on experiments. 学生将获得必要的关键实验室技能，以在未来进行更高级的大学水平的实验室.
荣誉水平的生物和化学课程的设计，使学生将准备在年底参加这些主题的SAT II科目考试. The topics in Honors-level courses are covered in greater detail, and students are expected to do more analytical work in both the classroom and lab. Additionally, the Honors-level courses are more writing intensive. Note: Honors-level courses are not prerequisites for AP science courses.
